Manny And Olga's Gearing Up For Northeast Pizza Challenge

(Monday, June 04, 2007) - Manny & Olga's Pizza will be competing along with 39 other pizzerias at the 2007 Northeast Pizza Challenge, for a chance to be named Best Pizza in the Northeast. The event will be held Sept. 12-13, 2007, at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, N.J.

The winner of this year's contest will compete in the second International Pizza Challenge at the International Pizza Expo, April 1-3, 2008, in Las Vegas.

Representing Manny & Olga's will be Ioannis Fragkiadakis, co-owner of the Georgetown, Washington, D.C., location. The pizza entered in the contest will be The Big Fat Greek Pizza.

The Big Fat Greek Pizza is made with fresh dough, fresh-packed tomato sauce, Cheddar blend cheese, sliced tomatoes, black olives, feta cheese, cooked lamb and beef, onions and fresh spinach.
