Huhot Mongolian Grill To Open In Village
ASHWAUBENON (Sunday, May 20, 2007) -
HuHot Mongolian Grills is coming to Shoppes at the Village in Ashwaubenon in the fall.
The franchise for the Missoula, Mont.-based chain is owned by David Lindenstruth, who also owns a HuHot in Grand Chute.
HuHot was founded in Missoula in 1999 and began opening franchises in 2002.
Lindenstruth said HuHot is a full-service, casual-dinning restaurant.
"It's designed to be fast, such as for business lunches," he said.
He said the Ashwaubenon restaurant's capacity will be 220, including bar seating. It will employ about 70 workers.
The restaurant will open daily at 11 a.m. Closing time hasn't been decided, but likely will be between 9 and 11 p.m., Lindenstruth said.
The Grand Chute restaurant opened in early 2006. Lindenstruth said it was named winner of the 2006 Appleton Post-Crescent Best of the Valley Award for Best New Restaurant and was second runner-up for Best Overall Ethnic Restaurant. Also, it won the 2006 Fox Cities Magazine Golden Fork Award for Best New Restaurant.
"We already have regulars from Green Bay," Lindenstruth said.
