Polish Franchisee Acquires Russian Pizza Hut

KOMMERSANT MOSCOW (Monday, May 21, 2007) - The operator of KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in Poland, AmRest Holdings, has acquired Pizza Nord, the Russian Pizza Hut franchise, in a deal worth a reported $48 million. AmRest hopes to double the number of restaurants in Russia within three years.
