Buehler Named Tony Roma's Ceo, President

(Monday, May 07, 2007) - Romacorp, Inc. announced the promotion of Marc Buehler to CEO and President of the company. The announcement was made by John Morgan, Chairman of Romacorp after the company's year end board meeting. Buehler previously held the COO position for the parent company and franchisor of the Tony Roma's brand.


"Marc has done an outstanding job running the day to day operations of Tony Roma's since last July and the board is highly confident in his abilities to lead the company and this great brand to new heights," said Morgan. "We are extremely pleased with the results and plans for growth and new development on the company and franchise sides of the business."

"We have all worked very hard to reposition the concept, roll out new products and building prototypes and those efforts are paying off. Rick Guerra, President of the Tony Roma's Franchise Advisory Committee added, "Marc has been a strong leader and advocate for the Tony Roma's brand and franchise system both domestically and internationally. The new and remodel prototypes as well as new menu items have given us some great tools to help grow our business."
