Era Real Estate Welcomes 11 New Affiliate Companies To Its Global Network In First Quarter 2007

ERA Network strengthens its presence with the addition of new franchises and existing affiliate expansions

(Monday, April 30, 2007) - ERA Franchise Systems, Inc. reported today that its franchise system continues to grow with 11 new residential brokerage companies joining its global franchise network in the first quarter 2007. ERA officials also stated that another 14 affiliated companies expanded their real estate brokerage operations in their respective markets across the country via mergers/acquisitions or opening new branch offices.


ERA Real Estate saw the most significant growth in the first three months of 2007 in Texas, California and South Carolina. The Lone Star State led the way with three new real estate brokerage grand openings along with three ERA affiliates expanding their operations in key Texas markets. South Carolina had two new brokerage openings and one existing franchise expansion. In addition, three new ERA franchised brokerage companies opened their doors for business in California.


The California and Texas markets continue to be a major source of growth for ERA Real Estate. In 2006, 17 new franchise brokerage companies in California joined ERA Real Estate and 10 new firms from Texas became part of the global network.
