Delivering convenience to residents of Barrie
Pizza Pizza has moved to wireless debit technology
(Monday, February 05, 2007) -
Pizza Pizza is now delivering hot and fresh pizza with the convenience of wireless debit technology, straight to the doors of Barrie residents.
Known for technological advancements and progressive projects that benefit customers, Pizza Pizza is testing wireless debit technology in the Barrie community before proceeding to a chain-wide roll out. The new portable machines will accept debit and all major credit cards, and offer the possibility of enhancements that will be explored in the near future.
"We're always testing new and existing technologies to better serve our customers," said Pat Finelli, vice president of marketing at Pizza Pizza. "Consumers want options – both in terms of the foods we prepare and the options of payments we provide them with. Now they can decide how to pay at the door without hassle or worry."
Research conducted by Pizza Pizza reveals that consumers are not always ready to decide on a method of payment when placing their orders.
Pizza Pizza is one of Canada's most popular and successful pizza restaurant operations, with more than 500 locations across Canada. The company is guided by a mission to provide the "best food, made especially for you" and a focus on quality ingredients, customer service, continual innovation and community contribution, including a company-wide commitment to the environment.
