Triple Anniversaries And A New Franchise Opening

Fastway Couriers in London and Oshawa celebrated their First Year anniversaries while Fastway Hamilton marked the completion of Year Two and Fastway Couriers Niagara opened its doors!

(Monday, September 25, 2006) - September was a busy time for Fastway Couriers Canada. Kids went back to school, Summer turned into Autumn and believe it or not, preparations began for the coming Christmas courier rush. In the midst of these activities, there were three important Fastway anniversaries recognized as well as the official opening of the seventh city wide franchise in Southern Ontario.

On September 5, 2006, London Regional Franchisee, Brent Landers and his team celebrated their first anniversary. It was a good year that saw Brent successfully award all available Courier Franchise Territories. He is now working to split them to provide more opportunities for entrepreneurial men and women who want to own their own businesses.

September 12, 2006, marked the first anniversary for Ken Angus, the Oshawa Regional Franchisee. Ken, his staff and his Courier Franchisees look forward to their continued penetration into the lucrative potential of the six billion dollar per year courier industry by focusing on a market niche untapped by other courier companies.

On September 14, 2006, Fastway Couriers Hamilton celebrated their second anniversary with one of their now legendary bar-b-ques. Husband and wife, Jamie and Mary-Anne Turner, are the Regional Franchisees who hosted this party where members from the national Franchise Support Office and the surrounding regional operations joined the festivities. The coming year will see the awarding of their last Courier Franchise Territory and an increased push towards owning more of the expanding courier market which is growing at a rate of between 6 and 7 percent or approximately $400 million per year.

At the end of September, John Maclean and Jamie Turner opened the Niagara Regional Franchise and connected their operation with the London, Kitchener, Hamilton, Barrie, Toronto and Oshawa regions for the exchange of courier services. They are now working to grant their remaining Courier Franchise Territory at a cost of $20,000.00 Franchise Fee plus approximately $8,000.00 for courier equipment, uniforms and van decals. A late model, long wheel based, white van which is in good condition is also needed.

What makes a Courier Franchise unique is the guaranteed $1,000.00 minimum remuneration for the first twenty weeks of operation. No other franchise makes this offer which allows new franchisees to focus on growing their businesses instead of worrying about putting food on their tables. Each of the franchisees is an independent business person who owns the exclusive and perpetual rights to a specific geographic area. They work together to provide their customers with exceptional service at a very competitive rate.

Combining the goals that these Regional Franchisees have set with the rapidly growing potential of the courier industry, Fastway Couriers in Southern Ontario should have plenty to celebrate next September.
