KITCHENER , ON (Tuesday, October 24, 2006) - On October 24, 2005, Regional Franchisee Miro Seperic, opened the doors of Fastway Couriers Kitchener and began providing business to business delivery services in Cambridge, Waterloo, Stratford, Guelph, Brantford and Georgetown. Now, one year later, there is plenty to celebrate. The service area has grown to include most cities in Southern Ontario, customers are signing up daily and almost all Courier Franchise Territories have been granted. For year two, Miro is excited about the prospect of having to split many of the existing courier runs and adding more franchisees as the next phase of his expansion.

Fastway Couriers was founded by Bill McGowan in New Zealand in 1983 and is now franchised in 11 countries, making it the world's largest courier franchise system. The Fastway approach to doing business is the same as that of the low cost airlines. A no frills service, flat rate pricing at competitive rates, and easy to use bar-coded prepaid labels for sending and tracking goods. Fastway's twenty-three year old system has been followed in Australia and now they are the largest domestic courier service in that country.

They are made up entirely of franchisees meaning each person is an independent businessperson who owns exclusive rights to their chosen part of the national Fastway network.
