City Wide Franchise Company Continues To Earn Awards And Praise
Each Month of the First Quarter has brought Another Award
LENEXA, KS (Monday, April 16, 2007) -
City Wide Franchise Company has earned three significant franchise industry awards during the first quarter of 2007. Not bad for a young company that began franchising its unique business model just more than 5 years ago.
"It seems each month another major award has come our way," said Jeff Oddo, President of City Wide Franchise Company. "These awards are a reflection on the great management team we have here at City Wide. I am so happy for them and the validation these awards say about their work and dedication." In early January City Wide Franchise Company was named as a Top 100 New Franchise by Franchise Market Magazine. The "Top 100 New Franchises" listing is a compilation of the Top 100 new franchises formed since the year 2000. According to Sean Kelly, a contributing writer to the magazine, "City Wide [is] shaking things up in commercial cleaning. Common wisdom might suggest that joining a large, well-established franchise chain is the safest route, but when looking for the next big franchise opportunity, it pays to Think Small'."
Later that same month you may have seen City Wide on the newsstands again when the company was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine as part of its "Franchise 500" rankings, long-considered the most comprehensive franchise rankings in the world. This is the magazine's 28th annual exercise to rank the best franchise opportunities.
And last but certainly not least, City Wide earned a "Four Star Rating" from its franchise owners making it a 2007 Franchise 50 Award Winner. The Franchise 50 Awards pay tribute to the companies voted among the best by their own franchisees. Administered by Franchise Business Review, a national franchise research firm, the "Franchise 50" is an annual rating of the top franchise companies based on the highest level of overall franchisee satisfaction by participating companies.
City Wide Maintenance is a professional management company within the building maintenance industry offering 20+ services to its clients, including janitorial, carpet cleaning, window washing, parking lot maintenance and tenant improvements. City Wide is the "Total Solution" to its clients for building maintenance services. Says Oddo, "Being a management company instead of a typical operations company is what allows City Wide to save our clients time and reduce the headaches associated with managing multiple vendors on their own."
City Wide Maintenance was founded in Kansas City, MO by Frank Oddo in 1959 and is now a national organization with multiple locations. Current President, Jeff Oddo, second generation owner of the family business, began franchising the company's business model in 2001.
City Wide Maintenance has locations in San Diego CA, Denver CO, Atlanta GA, Indianapolis IN, Minneapolis MN, St. Louis MO, Omaha, NE, Newark NJ, Cincinnati OH, Columbus OH, Cleveland OH, Dallas TX, Houston TX and Lenexa KS.
