Re/max Equity Group Franchise Expands

Re/Max Equity Group Inc. has acquired Re/Max Ideal Properties.

(Friday, April 06, 2007) - Beaverton-based Re/Max Equity Group, which is owned by Re/Max International, added a branch in Medford and two branches in Grants Pass when the firm acquired Medford-based Re/Max Ideal Properties on April 1.


Additionally, Re/Max Equity Group purchased Re/Max Ideal Properties' mortgage company Navigator Mortgage, which will become Equity Home Mortgage.

The addition of the Ideal Properties Realtors brings the total of real estate professionals at Re/Max Equity Group to 1,450.

Re/Max Ideal Properties was founded in 1984 and has been owned by Bob Gervais since 1998. Gervais will stay on as the Southern Oregon manager.
