Pet Food Recall Expanded To Include:

Alpo Prime Cuts Canned Dog Food
Hill's Prescription Diet m/d Feline Dry Food
Del Monte Treats/Foods For Dogs And Cats
Dingo Chicken Jerky Treats for Dogs, Cats & Ferrets

Recall also includes: Nutro canned & pouch dog and cat food; Mighty Dog pouch dog food; Science Diet canned cat food; Eukanuba canned and pouch dog and cat food; and Iams canned and pouch dog and cat food.


The pet food recall has been expanded to include Hill's Prescription Diet m/d Feline Dry Food in 4-lb. and 10-lb. bags, Alpo Prime Cuts in Gravy Canned Dog Food in all sizes and varieties, and selected Dog and Cat Treats and Food from Del Monte Pet Products.

The Del Monte recall includes products sold at Pet Supplies "Plus," as well as private label products sold by other retailers. This list of recalled products includes the following: Jerky Treats Beef Flavor Dog Snacks, Gravy Train Beef Sticks Dog Snacks, Pounce Meaty Morsels Moist Chicken Flavor Cat Treats, Ol' Roy Beef Flavor Jerky Strips Dog Treats, Ol' Roy Beef Flavor Snack Sticks Dog Treats, Ol' Roy Bark'n Bac'n Beef & Bacon Flavor Dog Treats, Ol' Roy with Beef Hearty Cuts in Gravy Dog Food, Ol' Roy with Beef Hearty Strips in Gravy Dog Food, Ol' Roy Country Stew Hearty Cuts in Gravy Dog Food, Dollar General Beef Flavored Jerky Strips Dog Treats, Dollar General Beef Flavored Beef Sticks Dog Treats, Happy Tails Beef Flavor Jerky Strips, Happy Tails Meaty Cuts with Beef in Gravy Dog Food.

The Dingo recall includes Dingo Chicken Jerky for Dogs, Dingo Kitty Chicken Jerky Fillets for Cats, and Dingo Ferret Chicken Jerky for ferrets. This recall is not related to the "wheat gluten" recall of dog and cat foods and treats. It is a voluntary recall on the part of the manufacturer (Eight in One Division of United Pet Group) to protect against possible Salmonella contamination.
