Yum Enters Franchise Agreement In Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO (Thursday, March 29, 2007) - Yum Brands Inc.'s (YUM.N: Quote, Profile , Research) international unit entered a franchise agreement to expand its KFC chain in Brazil with a large fast-food chain operator in the South American country, the company said on Thursday.

Under the agreement, Brazil Fast Food Corp (BOBS.OB: Quote, Profile , Research) will assume operational control of KFC's four company-owned and operated restaurants in Rio de Janeiro as a Yum franchisee.
