MORGANTOWN (Sunday, January 01, 2006) -
Saturday January the 7th The HIT Center in Morgantown had its official Grand Opening. To ramp up the event, The HIT Center advertised in local newspapers as well as a local radio station and sent out over 200 invitations to local coaches, doctors, and prominent business people in the community. For the event, The HIT Center ordered Subway party platters and veggie trays. Papa Johns donated pizzas and Pepsi donated bottled water. Also, there was a remote radio broadcast on WVAQ. Several prizes were donated from local businesses such as Hibbett Sports, Golf USA, and WVAQ. In addition, The HIT Center raffled off T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Free Packages, and a Polar Heart Rate Monitor. During the remote broadcast, several clients, owners, and trainers had the opportunity to speak about The HIT Center.
Ultimately, the day went very well. There was a good crowd of people that stopped in and eleven new clients took advantage of the Grand Opening and signed up for programs.
It was a great job by the owners and staff of The HIT Center and a very successful day. Congratulations Morgantown.
