Patrick Duffy – Local Grins 2 Go® Owner to Accept Award June 29th Businessman & Community Supporter

(Monday, June 26, 2006) - San Diego North Chamber of Commerce selects Grins 2 Go® as small business of the year. Patrick Duffy is the owner of the Grins 2 Go® Studio and On Location businesses located in Scripps Poway. Duffy will accept the honor at the Chamber's Installation and Awards Dinner on June 29, 2006.



The Grins 2 Go® Studio is a unique, customer focused experience offering fresh and stylish portrait photography. Grins 2 Go® On Location is an innovative business capturing all types of event photography and location portraits.



Duffy was the first franchisee and regional licensee of the San Diego-based Grins 2 Go® franchise organization – an organization that prescribes to a code of conduct built on the six pillars of character: trust, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.



Duffy opened both businesses early last year bringing two fresh business concepts to the area, career opportunities and a generous spirit. He attributes his success and acceptance in the community to the hard work and dedication of his team under the leadership of his two general managers: Francine Gonzalez and Josh Whalen.



A long-time business-owner in the Scripps Poway area and parent of two, Duffy is committed to being a part of the community. He has demonstrated his commitment through safety programs like Kids Watch – an annual Grins 2 Go® event dedicated to child safety; as well as the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, Scripps Ranch Civic Association, the Alzheimer's Foundation, and the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce.
