Extra Innings Debuts In Louisiana With Grand Opening March 31st In Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, LA (Wednesday, March 21, 2007) - Baseball and softball enthusiasts in northwest Louisiana will have a chance to start their Spring Training off right this weekend at Extra Innings in Shreveport. Extra Innings, the national leader of indoor baseball and softball training centers, will debut its first Louisiana location with a Grand Opening on Saturday, March 31st from 10 am-9 pm at 2535 East 70th (right next door to Louisiana CheerNastics) in Shreveport.

Visitors to Extra Innings that day will be able to try out the facility's state of the art batting cages and tunnels and have a chance to receive 10% off memberships. Raffles will take place throughout the day with exciting prizes such as Extra Innings apparel and equipment.

Extra Innings Shreveport is a state of the art, year round, training facility with 27-foot high ceilings and over 10,000 square feet. The impressive new center includes five indoor batting tunnels, two Iron Mike pitching machines, a training area, a fully stocked Pro Shop, and birthday party area.

The facility's tunnels will be available for rental on a half-hour and hourly basis.
