Six Flags To Open Six Johnny Rockets Franchise Locations In 2007

(Wednesday, March 21, 2007) - Six Flags has formed a strategic marketing alliance with Johnny Rockets restaurants which will allow the amusement park operator to open and operate franchise locations inside its parks. Under the alliance, Johnny Rockets will pay Six Flags an annual sponsorship fee.

Six Flags will build 26 franchise locations in its parks over the course of the next three years. The first six locations are slated to open this year at Great America, Over Texas, Magic Mountain, St. Louis, Fiesta Texas, and Great Adventure.

Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder, who won a proxy fight to take over Six Flags two years ago recently acquired Johnny Rockets through his private equity firm.
