Weichert, Realtors® Announces Franchise Openings And Expansions In Eight States, Including Its First Colorado Affiliate

(Tuesday, March 20, 2007) - Weichert Real Estate Affiliates,
Inc., the franchise arm of Weichert, Realtors®, accelerated its growth with
the openings of new affiliated offices in Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts,
and Tennessee as well as the debut of its first Colorado franchise in the
greater Denver area. In addition, existing Weichert® affiliates unveiled new
locations in Georgia, New York, and South Carolina.
Commenting on the office openings and expansions, Weichert Real Estate
Affiliates President Martin J. Rueter noted that the Weichert franchise
organization "gets increasingly closer to our vision of bringing the
Weichert standard of customer-focused service to home buyers and sellers
throughout all 50 states."
The new Weichert® affiliates are:
* WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Unique Homes, Centennial, Colo.
Serving the southern market of the Denver metropolitan area for 20 years,
Weichert's first Colorado affiliate is owned by Broker Tim Davis.
* WEICHERT, REALTORS® - GBS Realty, Miami, Fl. Esteban Estevez
and Fausto Estrella are partners in Weichert's newest Miami affiliate.
Estevez is broker of record and Estrella is sales manager.
* WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Ventura Associates, Huntley, Ill. The
sixth Weichert franchise in Illinois is owned by Broker Tammy Parzgnat.
* WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Briarwood Real Estate, South Easton,
Mass. Broker Raymond Ferrone is the owner of this nearly 40-year-old
company named in a local newspaper Reader's Poll as "Best Overall in the
(Boston) Metro South."
* WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Harold Long Realty, Knoxville, Tenn.
The eighth Weichert franchise in the Volunteer State is owned by brothers
Gary Long and Rick Long.
A number of Weichert franchisees opened new locations to meet market
demands.
In the South, Broker/Owner Debbie Ryan's WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Prestige
Properties of Savannah, Ga., added a second office in the growing Pooler
area to enhance their outreach in the greater Savannah market. WEICHERT,
REALTORS® - Paradise, owned by Broker Kevin Parks, expanded the Venice, Fla.
company and relocated it to Brunswick, Ga., where the company represents
several major projects, including the $1-billion mixed-use waterfront
development, Liberty Harbor, in the state's Golden Isles.
Also, South Carolina's WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Dean-Kelby, under Broker/Owner
Bryan Crabtree, launched a fourth Charleston area location in Summerville,
just weeks after acquiring a three-office firm in Knoxville, Tenn.
In New York, where Weichert, Realtors has 54 company-owned and franchise
offices, Albany-based WEICHERT, REALTORS® - Northeast Group expanded to a
fifth Capital Region office in Clifton Park. Brokers Peter Staniels and Doug
Engels are the owners.
