Port City Java Corporate Same Café Sales Increase For May; Opening A New Café In Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE (Wednesday, June 07, 2006) - Port City Java announces its " same unit " corporate sales for May 2006 increased 10.00% as compared with the same time period in 2005. The company feels same unit sales are a key indicator for unit performance and the increase in same unit sales indicate positive unit performance. Management feels the Brand continues to penetrate its market and feels the emphasis on enhanced operations and guest satisfaction are key elements in driving the sales increase. In addition, the company is seeing increased sales of its new line of Breakfast Sandwiches, which it introduced in early 2005, and feels adding the incremental sales to the morning guest has contributed significantly to the sales increase.

New Port City Java Opens in Tallahassee, FL
The company is pleased to announce the opening of its newest unit located at 2020 West Pensacola Street, Tallahassee, FL. The new unit, co-branded with Gold's Gym and located close to the campus of Florida State University, makes it very appealing. Management feels the Brand can benefit from the Gold's Gym guests, as well as its proximity to the University. The Company has 3 additional Florida openings planned for 2006.
