Port City Java Opens A New Café In Conway, Sc; Breakfast Sandwich Program

(Friday, June 30, 2006) - Port City Java announces the opening of its newest café located at 2450 HWY 501, Conway, SC. This is the third unit the company has opened in the Myrtle Beach, S.C. MSA. The new Port City Java Café is a free-standing location, and offers drive through service. The company is very pleased with the visibility and location of its newest unit, as it is located near Horry County's largest Hospital and Coastal University. Additionally, the unit is located on the " going to work side of the highway ", which enhances the ingress and egress for the guests. The company is excited about opening its third unit in the market, and believes the Brand continues to gain acceptance in the Myrtle Beach MSA.

Breakfast Sandwiches
Management indicates the Breakfast sandwich program, which the company enhanced and rolled out in 2005, continues to gain acceptance and drive sales in the corporate units. Management felt the guest would be open to an additional morning purchase, if they were offered a savory product, along with the morning pastries, muffins, and other products. The breakfast sandwiches are served on an English muffin, with egg and cheese, and a choice of peppered bacon, sausage, or ham, and can be cooked in 2 minutes, allowing for quick service for the time conscious guest.
