Costar Inks Deals With Chick-fil-a, Dippin' Dots Ice Cream Franchise

(Monday, February 05, 2007) - CoStar Group, a provider of information services to the commercial real estate industry, announced that Chick-fil-A, Dippin' Dots, United Rentals and a fourth, unidentified company have signed license agreements for access to CoStar's services.

The fourth company was not named because it requested anonymity, according to Bethesda-based CoStar (NASDAQ: CSGP).

Chick-fil-A has more than 1,250 restaurants in 37 states and D.C.

Dippin' Dots, one of the fastest-growing franchises in the United States, sells ice cream in 250 retail locations and at thousands of entertainment venues and special events nationwide.

United Rentals, an equipment-rental company, has a network of more than 760 rental sites in 48 states, 10 Canadian provinces and Mexico.

CoStar researches and verifies commercial properties in more than 300 metro areas. Subscribers to its Property Professional database have access to more than 2 million commercial properties of all classes and types.
