Entrepreneur Ranks Domino's Pizza Top Pizza Franchise

(Wednesday, January 17, 2007) - Entrepreneur magazine ranked Domino's Pizza its No. 6 overall franchise choice in its annual Franchise 500 list for 2007. The chain also was ranked No. 1 among pizza franchises, a spot it has held since 2004.

According to a news release, Entrepreneur has ranked Domino's in its top 10 eight times. Also this year, the chain was listed as the third-best of America's Top Global Franchises.

"In the U.S. alone, Domino's Pizza boasts more than 1,350 independent franchisees," said Jim Stansik, Domino's executive vice president for franchise development. "The typical Domino's franchisee owns three stores, but more than half of them own and operate single units, primarily in the communities in which they live."
