Friendly's Puts 2 & 2 Together With Create Your Own Entrées Menu

For guests who just can't make up their minds, Friendly's offers the perfect solution: create your own perfect meal by choosing two entrees, adding two side dishesÑand then topping it off with a free Happy Ending Sundae¨.

"Friendly's is proud of offering a range of delicious entrees that are so tempting that people sometimes have trouble choosing just one," said Pete Bell, Vice President, Marketing for Friendly's. "Now guests don't have to pick just one great taste. They can treat themselves to two favorite entrees and then choose just the right two sides to go with them, whether they're in the mood for hearty dishes like mashed potatoes or lighter fare like garden fresh vegetables."

Seven Friendly's Put 2 & 2 Together™ entrées will be featured between January 8 and February 18:

Sirloin Steak Tips—A half-pound of tender, juicy sirloin tips, sautéed peppers, onions and baby portabella mushrooms with a special glaze made with Worcestershire sauce;
Southwest BBQ Steak—Choice sirloin seasoned to perfection and topped with melted Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses and served over a bed of crispy Fronions;
Cheddar Jack Chicken—A grilled chicken breast smothered with a mouth-watering combination of hickory-smoked bacon, tomatoes and melted Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses;
Grilled Flounder—A flaky fillet of lightly breaded, grilled flounder in a delectable lemon-pepper seasoning;
Sirloin Steak—A tender, juicy sirloin steak, cooked perfectly and served on top of Fronions;
Fried Shrimp—A quarter-pound of tender fried shrimp, with tangy cocktail sauce and lemon;
BBQ Chicken—A grilled chicken breast topped with BBQ glaze, melted Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, hickory-smoked bacon served atop a bed of crispy Fronions.
Guests can pair their two entrée items with two sides that include home-style mashed potatoes, rice, golden fries, cole slaw, garden vegetables, corn, broccoli, and applesauce.

When it comes time for dessert, a free Happy Ending Sundae is always the perfect choice. Each sundae is made with two scoops of any Friendly's signature ice cream, decadent hot fudge, whipped topping and a cherry. Guests can also treat themselves to a deliciously indulgent three-scoop sundae.
