Rita's 'Cool Wheels' Helps Bresler & Reiner, Inc. And Acorn Development Corporation Raise Nearly $ 20,000 For Alex's Lemonade Stand

BLUE BELL, PENNSYLVANIA (Wednesday, August 09, 2006) - On Wednesday, August 16 at 2:30 p.m., Sidney Bresler, CEO of Rockville, Maryland based developer Bresler & Reiner, Inc. will present Jay Scott, father of the late Alexandra Scott and executive director of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation with a check for $17,500 at Valley Square Office Complex, a property owned by Bresler & Reiner, Inc., located at 512 Township Line Road, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.

Bresler & Reiner, Inc. and Acorn Development Corporation, a property asset management company that represents Bresler & Reiner, Inc., joined forces with Rita's Ices, Cones, Shakes and Other Cool Stuff to raise nearly $20,000 for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Over the past several weeks, "Cool Wheels," Rita's on the move, visited eight of Bresler & Reiner, Inc., properties in the Greater Philadelphia area giving away some 3,000 cups of "Alex's Lemonade Italian Ice and simultaneously raising funds to fight childhood cancer-the goal of the foundation begun by young Alex before she succumbed to the disease.

Recently, Rita's named Alex's Lemonade Stand its official corporate charity and permanently renamed its popular lemon ice "Alex's Lemonade". Throughout the month of July,Rita's locations nationwide sold special paper "lemons" for $1. Emblazoned with the purchaser's name the "lemons" are posted on each store's Wall of Hope.

"It is a great opportunity to partner with 'Alex's Lemonade' ice and support such a worthy cause. Our tenants, employees and visitors enjoyed participating in this fun event, especially considering the hot weather we've had" said Bresler. "More importantly, we are proud to help such a truly worthy cause and perpetuate the legacy of Alex Scott, an amazing youngster who made incredible accomplishments in her short life".
