Qdoba Mexican Grill Names Bloomington, Indiana As 300th Location

(Sunday, August 06, 2006) - Qdoba Mexican Grill is growing again, this time with the opening of their 300th location. The 300th store debuts in Bloomington, IN on Monday, July 31 at 116 S Indiana Avenue at 4th and Indiana across from the law school and near Indiana University's Visitor Center on Kirkwood.

Qdoba's fiscal year goal was to open 75 to 80 new restaurants and they are on track with the opening of 80 restaurants before October of this year. The numbers speak to their strength as they've increased total unit growth by more than 41% from last year.

This will be the 16th Qdoba Mexican Grill that Aztec Partners, LLC will own and operate. The Indiana franchise group has been awarded top recognition in the Indianapolis area where the majority of Qdoba Mexican Grill restaurants are centrally located. This includes two AOL awards, City's Best Healthy Dining and City's Best Mexican Food Awards in 2004, Indy's Best Burrito in NUVO for 2005, and most recently took the honors of one of the Best of the Best restaurants in the Indianapolis Zoo's annual fundraiser, Zoobilation, in 2006.
