Express Services, Inc. Hires Five Zone Vice Presidents

(Tuesday, January 24, 2006) - Express Services, Inc. announces the addition of Jo Bonello, Elaine Brink, Margueritte Mertz, Carol Russell and Dina Simon as zone vice presidents. In this position, they will work to foster closer relationships between developers, franchisees, clients and associates by monitoring day-to-day issues.
Before joining Express in 1990 as a sales representative in Tulsa, Okla., Bonello worked with Marriott Hotels and Resorts for eight years in a convention sales position. Her work for Express as a corporate developer in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana increased the region's sales by over 60% in 2005.
Brink joined Express in 1996 as a regional director and oversaw 24 regional sales managers. In 2003, she was promoted to vice president of sales. Before joining Express, she worked as a branch manager for Adams and Associates in Seattle.
Mertz joined Express in 1997 to oversee sales in the northeast market. She helped increase sales in her region by 400% to $2.5 million and established the office team division. Mertz served as a branch manager for Robert Half International Inc. prior to joining Express.
Russell, who joined Express in 2000, has served as a corporate developer in Ohio and Kentucky. She previously worked as a regional director for Spherion for 11 years.
Simon supported 17 Express offices in northern California. She and her sales teams have managed accounts ranging from $10,000 to $50 million in sales revenue. Simon previously worked at Volt Services Group as the national account manager and regional manager.
With over 500 franchise locations, Oklahoma City-based Express Services' client base extends through four countries and employs 300,000 people annually. Company sales totaled $1.55 billion in 2005.
Today, Express operates three service lines, including Express Personnel Services, temporary staffing/evaluation and direct hire; Express Professional Staffing, contract and executive recruiting and placement; and Express Business Solutions, customized workplace services.
