Have you ever wanted to show your strength in a real bench press competition? Do you think you and a few friends have what it takes to be a championship tug of war team? If you said yes, Gold's Gym Green Brook has the perfect event for you.
This Saturday, August 5th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Gold's Gym Green Brook will host "A Show of Strength 2," a charity event to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Open to all ages, sizes and weight classes. The event will feature a bench press competition, a tug-of-war contest, special group exercises classes and an educational health and nutrition seminar taught by body builder Dave Palumbo. Gold's Gym Green Brook owners, Rob and Mary Zampetti, and New Jersey Muscle owner, Joe Puleo, are holding the event to promote the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle while raising much needed funds for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
"The Show of Strength event gives us the opportunity to bring the community together to help support a worthy cause," said Rob Zampetti, Gold's Gym Owner. "St. Jude's is an amazing organization dedicated to helping sick children and we are committed to raising funds in support of their efforts."
