Edible Arrangements Launches Customized Website For Spanish-speaking Customers

- Spanish-language Website created to support San Juan , P.R., franchise and to meet growing demand for customized product offering sans language barrier -

(Thursday, April 06, 2006) - Edible Arrangements, the nation's leading purveyor of hard-carved fresh fruit bouquets, today announced the launch of a customized Website for Spanish-speaking customers to make online shopping easier and more functional and to support the company's first San Juan, P.R., store location at 160 Avenida F.D.Roosevelt.

The Edible Arrangements Website, which is now available in both Spanish and English, gives Spanish-speaking customers from San Juan, the U.S. and from around the world the convenience of shopping for unique hand-sculpted fruit bouquets; viewing the latest arrangements and information; and learning about franchise opportunities sans language barrier. Additionally, the Spanish version of the website accommodates U.S. expansion into three of the company's fastest-growing states- California , Texas and Florida -that contain a strong Spanish-speaking population.

The 1,800-square-foot Edible Arrangements store opened in San Juan on Oct. 18, 2005, and is in a prime location near the largest mall in Latin America . The store currently employs 14 people. Plans are underway by Edible Arrangements International, which opened its first store in East Haven , Conn. in 1999, to further expand the company's presence in Puerto Rico by year end to accommodate increased demand in the region.
