After years in the restaurant industry, Rich Hicks wanted to create a fresh, new concept in dining; one that focused on the food and the guests, rather than the hiring, training, and retaining of staff.
Five years ago, Hicks made his dream a reality when he co-founded Tin Star, a casual, Southwestern-style restaurant, where the attitude is in the food. Actively pursuing his two passions, people and food, Hicks has had success and launched a franchise division for Tin Star, which already has sold agreements for five stores in Austin and seven more in the Dallas area.
Hicks soon plans to introduce Houston, Colorado, and Oklahoma to his tasty vision.
