Rainbow Station Educational Programs Coming To Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH (Monday, November 06, 2006) - Rainbow Station, a provider of early childhood education programs, broke ground on its first location in Virginia Beach at 1973 and 1977 Sandbridge Boulevard, Virginia Beach, adjacent to the Food Lion shopping center at the corner of Princess Anne Road and Sandbridge Road. Franchisees Rob and Hazel Mariano will open Rainbow Station in Spring 2007 and can accommodate up to 325 children. Rainbow Station, which is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, offers preschool, nursery school, private kindergarten and The Village, an after-school recreation and summer camp program. The Get Well Place at Rainbow Station provides an onsite facility to care for children who are mildly ill when their parents must work and is staffed by a full-time registered pediatric nurse. Rainbow Station was founded in Richmond in 1989 by Gail Johnson.
