Wendy's Completes The Sale Of Baja Fresh

Previously announced $31 million dollar sale completes

(Tuesday, November 28, 2006) - Wendy's (NYSE:WEN) announced the completion of its previously announced sale of Baja Fresh Mexican Grill today. The chain operates about 300 restaurant locations in the United States and sold for approximately $31 million. The Baja Fresh purchaser is a West Coast restaurant company owned by a consortium of investment groups led by David Kim. Mr. Kim and his team own or operate several restaurant outfits, including Sweet Factory, Cinnabon and Denny's.
