Kinderdance Holds 27th Annual Early Childhood And Continuing Education Conference

MELBOURNE, FL (Thursday, December 07, 2006) - The Melbourne-based Kinderdance International Inc. founders Carol Kay Harsell and Bernard Friedman were joined by most of their 109 franchisees, employees, family and friends at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Indialantic Fl. for an evening of fun and games and of course dance!

Franchisees from around the United States and 4 other countries attended the event not only for the founders anniversary but also to enjoy the sharing and continuing education that the three day Kinderdance conference brings through sharing sessions, roundtable discussions, and marketing strategies.

All franchisees and guests were also treated to a local franchisee's class of 3-5 year olds performing a Kinderdance program. The kids were greeted with applause and praise as they performed in front of an audience of over 100 people. "It is always so special to see the Kinderdance programs bring such smiles to the children as they perform", said Darlene Van Der Wal, Director of Education for Kinderdance. "They learn how to learn while they learn to dance" she said.

Another treat was the appearance of the Guest Key Note Speaker, Mr. Wally Amos founder of Famous Amos Cookies and now president of Uncle Wally's Muffins, Chips and Cookies. He also helped with the Kinderdance awards ceremony where there were raffle prizes and awards given to the franchisee of the year, the franchise rookie of the year amongst many other awards.

The Melbourne-based Kinderdance International Inc. has been steadily expanding since its founding in 1979. Since then they have taught hundreds of thousands of children and now, each week, about 12,000 children participate in its programs.

The company just awarded its newest area development franchise -- in Zurich, Switzerland -- and now has 109 franchises in 36 states and four other countries.

Kinderdance programs emphasize self-confidence and self-esteem in children by teaching them to share, lead, interact and respond to others' needs, as well as their own.
