Second Victorville Farmer Boys Opens Today

VICTORVILLE, CA (Wednesday, August 11, 2004) - Victorville gets a second Farmer Boys fastaurant with the opening today of the company's newest location at 14280 Bear Valley Road. Located in front of Circuit City at Bear Valley and New Mall Road, this unit joins the first Victorville Farmer Boys which opened in December at 12916 Hesperia Road. This is Farmer Boys' 40th unit and is operated by franchisees Bob and Vimal Bhanvadia. Riverside-based Farmer Boys has a strong presence in the Inland Empire, but the newest location in Victorville exemplifies the company's recent growth outside what has been their traditional core area. Six of the last seven fastaurants to open have been outside the Inland Empire, in Victorville (2), Covina, Santa Fe Springs, Tustin, and Indio. Growth outside the core area will continue in the coming months with units scheduled to open in Bakersfield, Escondido, Lancaster, Baldwin Park, and Irwindale, along with a number of additional locations in areas where the company is already well-known such as Moreno Valley, Riverside, and Corona. Farmer Boys fastaurants offer over 75 menu items, a variety usually associated with traditional restaurants. Popular menu offerings include award-winning burgers, gourmet salads, freshly-prepared sandwiches, and signature side items such as monster-sized onion rings and deep-fried zucchini. Made-to-order breakfasts include three-egg omelets, French toast, pancakes, egg dishes, and breakfast burritos.
