Hampton to offer online promotion to encourage families to host their own family reunion

(Wednesday, September 06, 2006) - Hampton (www.hampton.com), the national brand of more than 1,350 mid-priced Hampton Inn® and Hampton Inn & Suites® hotels, today has announced that it has been named the official sponsor of the 21st annual National Black Family Reunion Celebration to be held at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on September 9-10, 2006. The annual Black Family Reunion Celebration (BFRC) is a two-day cultural event that is recognized as the largest, most significant family event in the nation, attracting more than 500,000 people each year. The two-day festival celebrates the enduring strengths and traditional values of the African-American family.
