Orange County Pizza Chain Moves North

SAN JOSE (Monday, October 09, 2006) - Zpizza, a Newport Beach-based restaurant chain that serves gourmet pizza, salads and sandwiches, has moved into the Bay Area, opening three locations in the East Bay and one in San Jose.

The East Bay restaurants are located in Fremont, San Ramon and Danville.

The restaurant and catering chain now operates 40 locations nationwide, with 25 in Southern California. It also has locations in Nevada, Colorado, Kansas, North Carolina, Virginia and Vermont. It has plans to open 17 additional restaurants in upcoming months, though none of those are in the Bay Area.

The East Bay restaurants are at 46703 Mission Blvd., Fremont, 3141-D Crow Canyon Place, San Ramon, and 95 Railroad Ave., Danville.
