Boston Pizza Launches New Menu

16 fabulous new dishes added to menu

(Tuesday, May 31, 2005) - Boston Pizza International Inc.
has launched their latest menu design complete with 16 new menu items,
a selection of ‘delicious alternatives', and a revamped beverage menu
available at all Boston Pizza restaurants across Canada starting today.

"We're always striving to stay in touch with the changing and
diverse tastes of our guests," said Matthew Hoag, Corporate Chef,
Boston Pizza International Inc. "For example, our new ‘delicious
alternatives' menu offers seven delectable dishes with smaller portions
and lower carb content."

Boston Pizza also offers three feature menus throughout the year
containing six to eight new items. Some of the favourites from
these are incorporated into the next menu redesign.

The 16 new menu items introduce new flavours, refresh the look, and
respond to new food trends and include: Pad Thai, Sirloin Steak Salad,
Chicken Kung Pao, Baked Salmon Filet, Boston Cheesesteak Pizza, Scallop
and Prawn Fettuccini, and the Mediterranean Stromboli Sandwich.

At the heart of Boston Pizza's menu is pizza, which is available in
23 varieties and four different sizes. The original dough and pizza
sauce, created 40 years ago by Boston Pizza's founder Gus Agioritis, is
still used today in all Boston Pizza restaurants. Boston Pizza's
recipes for hand-pressed dough and signature sauces use only the
freshest ingredients. Every pie is pressed by hand and cooled in
the refrigerator for 12 to 48 hours, which produces more flavourful
dough.

The new menu's design features a vertical layout and a more
contemporary colour scheme to compliment the new restaurant design and
