Boston Pizza Continues To Grow In Durham Region With Opening Of First Ajax Location

(Friday, October 28, 2005) - Boston Pizza International Inc. announces the grand opening of its first restaurant and sports bar location in Ajax, Ontario on Monday, October 31st, 2005. The opening is part of Boston Pizza's rapid expansion across Ontario.

The new restaurant, located at 8 Salem Rd. S., is owned and operated by local residents Cory Luedtke and Amber and Steve Bailey. The opening creates 110 new jobs in the community.


The chain presently has locations in Whitby and Pickering and has plans to open additional stores in the Durham Region in 2006.
"We're thrilled to bring a new dining alternative to Ajax," says Luedtke. "We're committed to offering our guests exceptional service and quality food in a fun atmosphere."

With more than 100 menu items including 23 different varieties of gourmet pizzas, plus pasta, salads, sandwiches and ribs, there's something for everyone at Boston Pizza.

Giving back to the community is a fundamental value at Boston Pizza. Even before the store opens its doors for business, Boston Pizza Ajax will be giving back to local people in need. The staff will present a cheque to the Children's Wish Foundation at the grand opening party on Saturday, October 29th from tips generated through six dress rehearsals.
