Sport Clips Franchise Expands Presence In Professional Sports Arena, Signs Sponsorship Agreement With The Houston Rockets

Agreement Names Sport Clips Official Haircutters of the Houston Rockets

HOUSTON, TEXAS (Monday, September 18, 2006) - Sport Clips, the national hair care franchise for men and boys, today announced it has added another professional sports team to its roster of partners and entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Houston Rockets. Under the terms of the agreement, Sport Clips will hold the title of "Official Haircutter of the Houston Rockets" and use the team logo on all of its marketing materials for a one year period beginning in November 2006. In addition, Sport Clips will receive opportunities to distribute to game attendees coupons for hair-care services at any of its 40 stores in the Houston area during mutually agreed upon Sport Clips nights at the Toyota Center.

"This agreement expands our company's presence in the professional sports arena and helps to bring us closer to our local customers."

Sport Clips has successfully partnered with a variety of top names and organizations in the sports world to enhance its brand image among its investors, employees and current and prospective customers. In addition to its partnership with the Houston Rockets, Sport Clips is also the Official Haircutter of the Texas Rangers and the San Antonio Spurs. Earlier this year, the company tapped into the popular sport of auto racing by sponsoring Paul Tracy's No. 34 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Busch Series. In addition, the company sponsored Max Papis' Cheever racing / Sport Clips Dallara/Honda car No. 52 during the 90th running of the Indianapolis 500. From a qualifying position of 18th, Papis finished the race 14th.

On a local basis, Sport Clips' Area Developers and Team Leaders sponsor regional teams in their territories, including the Jacksonville (Fla.) Suns' Minor League Baseball Team; the Nashville (Tenn.) Sounds, the Minor League Baseball Class AAA affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers; the Memphis (Tenn.) Redbirds Minor League Baseball Team; and the Lafayette (La.) Ragin Cajuns at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
