Service Brands International Names Jim Evers President Of 1-800-dryclean

(Friday, September 29, 2006) - David G. McKinnon, founder and chairman of Service Brands International (SBI), a multi-concept franchisor with brands that target today's time-conscious consumers, announced that Jim Evers has been named President of 1-800-DryClean.

"Jim's been with us since August, 2003, and as senior vice president has lead our franchise development team to record sales in each of the last two full years. In 2005 we awarded 152 franchises almost doubling our sales for 2004, due in no small measure to Jim's leadership," said McKinnon. Prior to joining Service Brands Mr. Evers spent more than ten years as a consultant specializing in marketing and strategic planning. Before that, Mr. Evers was Vice President of the Evers Business Group (EBG), one of Chicago 's largest, privately owned office furniture companies. And, from 1991 to 1992 Mr. Evers took a leave of absence from EBG to run for the U.S. Congress.
