Sport Clips Franchise Adds The Denver Nuggets To Its Line Up Of Nba Team Partners

DENVER, COLORADO (Monday, October 09, 2006) - Sport Clips, the national hair care franchise for men and boys, today announced it has signed a partnership agreement with the NBA's 2006 Northwest Division Champions, the Denver Nuggets.

As an official partner of the Denver Nuggets, Sport Clips will use the team's logo on all of its marketing materials and have the opportunity to promote the company on digital signage at Denver's Pepsi Center during each home game during the regular season. In addition, Sport Clips will have the opportunity to distribute to game attendees coupons for hair care services at any of its 17 salons in the Denver area and to host appearances by Denver Nuggets Dancers and team mascot, Rocky, at several of it's stores throughout the season.

"We're proud to partner with the Denver Nuggets and expand our presence among prospective customers and franchisees in the greater Denver area," said Susan Thayer, Area Developer for Sport Clips in Colorado. "Through this partnership, we're putting our brand in front of the more than 17,000 predominantly male fans who, like our company, share a passion for professional sports."

This is the third NBA team sponsorship for Sport Clips, which also partners with the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs. In addition, the company partners with the Texas Rangers and sponsors Paul Tracy's No. 34 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Busch Series as well as Max Papis' Cheever racing / Sport Clips Dallara/Honda car No. 52 during the 90th running of the Indianapolis 500. .

On a local basis, Sport Clips' Area Developers and Team Leaders sponsor regional teams in their territories, including the Jacksonville (Fla.) Suns' Minor League Baseball Team; the Nashville (Tenn.) Sounds, the Minor League Baseball Class AAA affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers; the Memphis (Tenn.) Redbirds Minor League Baseball Team; and the Lafayette (La.) Ragin Cajuns at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
