WASHINGTON STATE (Thursday, July 27, 2006) - Move over stereotypical restaurant chains, Mr. Greek is coming through! The Canadian born Greek chain is ramping up its franchise sales and crossing the border. With its eye on a nationwide expansion plan and a virtually untapped Greek market, the concept is prepped and ready to take over the country.

The full-service Mr. Greek Mediterranean Grill provides a full bar and offers seafood, pasta and grilled delicacies, saganaki, kalamari, as well as its signature souvlaki and gyros. The fast casual Mr. Greek takes "food on the go" to a new level, serving all meals on china for customers who dine-in. The restaurants seat 60 (Fast Casual) -180 (Grill) people and are 2,000 (Fast Casual) - 5,000 (Grill) square feet. Both Mr. Greek concepts offer call-ahead, pick-up, take-out and delivery.

Mr. Greek currently has 22 locations in Southern Ontario. The first U.S. location will be in Washington state and is slated to open in the next six months.
