Bennigan's Ranked Among Top 200 Franchise Chains

PLANO, TEXAS (Thursday, October 19, 2006) - Bennigan's Grill & Tavern, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, was recognized by Franchise Times as one of the top franchise chains in the U.S.

Bennigan's ranked 98 out of 200 franchise chains according to the October issue. Rankings included U.S. based franchise companies and were measured by company and franchised unit sales worldwide.

"The chains ranked on Franchise Times Top 200 list are an elite group and Bennigan's is honored to be among the best," said Vince Runco, president of world wide franchising and COO for Bennigan's. "Our brand has been performing and expanding continuously, particularly overseas, and we look forward to further growth in 2007."

Bennigan's posted $610 million in worldwide sales with 260 domestic units, 309 total units, and a 47 percent franchise system.
