John Weeks Named As Senior Director Of Procurement

(Thursday, August 24, 2006) - Accor North America, one of the largest hotel chain owner and operators in North America, announces the hiring of John Weeks as the new senior director of Supply Chain Management. Weeks' responsibilities include developing purchase strategy, supplier relations, product sourcing and development, and managing projects associated with renovations, property services, and supply chain.



Weeks come to Accor with over 33 years of supply chain, procurement and retail management experiences. Prior to joining Accor, he was Vice President for Mitsui Supply Systems, Inc., a procurement and supply chain management company, Vice President for Mitsui Bussan Logistics, a logistics and distribution solutions provider, and held several management positions over 23 years with 7-Eleven, Inc. He attended The University of Texas in Austin, California State University Fullerton, Fullerton College and served in the California Army National Guard.
