146-Suite Hotel Will Open in November under New Ownership and Management Company

LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA (Tuesday, September 12, 2006) - Embassy Suites Hotels today announced plans to open the 146-suite Embassy Suites Hotel and Spa - La Quinta. Located just 21 miles from Palm Springs, the hotel is set to open November 1, 2006.

The hotel is owned by Village Resorts, LLC and will be managed by Hilton Hotels Corporation. In addition to the 146 suites, the resort also features 144 privately owned casitas, which will also be a part of the hotel's inventory.

Nestled on approximately 10 acres, the hotel will feature more than 11,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, five outdoor pools and whirlpools and a 5,000 square foot full-service spa. In addition to two-room suites, the hotel also offers adjoining casitas with separate living areas and fully equipped kitchens. The hotel offers a complimentary full cooked-to-order breakfast each morning and a two-hour Manager's Reception* each evening featuring beverages and light snacks. High-speed Internet access is available throughout the resort.

The newly built Embassy Suites Hotel and Spa - La Quinta hotel is located in the prestigious Village of La Quinta near the Trilogy Golf Club, Indian Wells Tennis Garden, and PGA West. The full-service, upscale, all-suite resort is just minutes from the Empire Polo Club, Eldorado Polo Club, El Paseo Shopping District and the Riverside County Fairgrounds. The McCallum Theatre, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and the communities of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indian Wells and Ranch Mirage are all just a short drive away. The hotel is located 17 miles from the Palm Springs International Airport.
