Jani-king International Franchise Earns Prestigious Franchise Award

(Monday, June 12, 2006) - Jani-King International is proud to announce that Gary Dick, Vice President of Jani-King Franchising has been named the recipient of the 2006 Michael Minihane Outstanding Achievement Award for International Franchise Development by MFV Expositions, producer of the International Franchise Expo. Dick was honored at the 15th Annual International Franchise Expo in Washington, D.C., on June 3, 2006. "Gary is a leader who has changed the franchising landscape on national and international levels and championed the greater industry through his development efforts," said Tom Portesy, president of MFV. "We salute him and honor those who came before him for whom the award is named."

Dick joined Jani-King in 2000 and is responsible for Master License expansion of the commercial cleaning concept in Belgium, Russia, Portugal, Spain, Greece and the Middle East. The Michael Minihane Award he received was named after Minihane, CEO of Maret Corporation, who single-handedly sold franchise licenses in more than 60 countries during his career.
