Saladworks Franchise Latest Location: Newtown, Pennsylvania

NEWTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA (Monday, June 26, 2006) - On June 14th, TPC Holding Company, LLC, a company headed by the successful entrepreneurial trio of John Tumolo, Erik Payne and Mike Chrupcala, will open its third Saladworks at 2804 South Eagle Road. Saladworks, the nation's leading healthy alternative to fast food and the originator of the fresh tossed to order salad concept, is one of the region's fastest growing franchise companies with more than 20 new stores opened in 2005. The TPC team has found great success since its formation in September 2005. Later this year, they plan to open a fourth location in nearby Southampton, PA.

Tumolo spent nearly 20 years with Rita's, where he was instrumental in the growth of the company from a single store to more than 300 locations. Last year, he parted from the company, and acquired majority interest in EM Partners, the company founded by Payne and Chrupcala that owned and operated the Hillsborough Promenade, NJ Saladworks. In February 2006, TPC acquired the Saladworks in East Windsor, NJ. In April, Erik Payne was named Operator of the Year for the Hillsborough location at Saladworks' second annual Franchisee Convention. Payne, who oversees the store's day to day operations, was awarded a new H2 HUMMER.

The new location features a bright, bold colored interior with dark, earth-tone floors and warm colored fabric covered banquettes and booths. Additional seating is provided with handsome wooden tables and chairs, and customers can enjoy outdoor seating during spring and summer months. A large state-of-the-art temperature-controlled salad case and custom, hand-blown pendant lamps, suspended from the ceiling, complete the welcoming ambience.

Saladworks features an extensive menu that offers more than 12 salad varieties including: Bently, Iceberg and Romaine lettuce, chopped eggs, tomatoes, ham, provolone cheese and turkey breast; Mandarin Chicken, Spring Mix, roasted chicken breast, mandarin oranges, cucumbers, carrots, raisins, and chow mein noodles; and Nicoise, Iceberg and Romaine lettuce, pasta, tuna, tomatoes, chopped eggs and black olives.
