Park Inn Announces 2004 General Manager Of The Year And Presidential Award-winning Hotels

Park Inn, part of Carlson Hotels Worldwide, today announced that Connie Harrison of the Park Inn in Omaha, Neb., has been selected as the General Manager of the Year. The company also announced that it has awarded six hotels the brand's prestigious 2004 Presidential Award for outstanding quality.
Harrison was selected as General Manager of the Year for her leadership excellence, which creates an engaging work environment that attracts and retains employees that are empowered to help the hotel achieve success. She has served as the property's general manager for the nearly 20 years.

The Presidential Award was created to recognize and reward hotels that have demonstrated their commitment to guest service by consistently receiving scores of at least 90 percent in qualifying criteria during their annual Quality Performance Review. The winners were chosen based on a vision that includes: Focus on the Customer; Provide Individualized Marketing and Services; and Empower Employees. Hotels must be in the system for at least one year to be considered for the award.
