Dairy Queen Teams Up With Orange Julius At The East Towne Mall

MADISON, WIS (Thursday, December 02, 2004) - Orange Julius of America and American Dairy Queen Corporation proudly announce the recent opening of a new Orange Julius/Dairy Queen store at the East Towne Mall in Madison, Wis.

The specialty store is located in the food court on the mall's main level. The store is owned by Sherry Catlin and her son Chad. The on-site manager is Karen Mayo.

The new Orange Julius/Dairy Queen store serves an assortment of Orange Julius products, including the Julius® Premium Fruit Smoothies, freshly-blended smoothies made with real fruit, fruit juice and frozen non-fat vanilla yogurt or sherbet. The current Julius Premium Fruit Smoothie feature is Strawberry Sensation. Strawberry Sensation is a delicious blend of real strawberries, tropical fruit juice and non-fat frozen yogurt- and best of all its low fat! Additional menu items include the famous and frothy Julius Original blended fruit drinks. The store also serves a variety of Dairy Queen soft-serve items, including the famous Blizzard® treats, MooLatté™ frozen blended coffee drinks and other DQ® soft-serve ice cream treats.

The East Towne Mall location features a fresh, exciting design concept incorporating maple woodwork and colorful glass tiles.

The Catlins are extremely pleased with the new store and state, "We are so excited to be open in the East Towne Mall. Business has doubled since we first opened a few months ago and it doesn't stop growing. We are so pleased that we are making our customers happy!"

This is the fifth store opening for Sherry, who has been franchising for over 10 years in the Madison area. She loves connecting with the customers and continues to give back to the community with her involvement with Muscular Dystrophy (MDF).
