Orange Julius® Teams Up With Dairy Queen® At The Westlake Center In Seattle

SEATTLE (Thursday, December 02, 2004) - Orange Julius of America and American Dairy Queen Corporation proudly announce the recent opening of a new Orange Julius/Dairy Queen store in the Westlake Center in Seattle, Wash.

The specialty store is located in the food court on the mall's third level. The store is co-owned by Kamal and Anita Tandon and Anil Prasad.
The new Orange Julius/Dairy Queen store serves an assortment of Orange Julius products, including Premium Fruit Smoothies, freshly-blended smoothies made with real fruit, fruit juice and frozen non-fat vanilla yogurt or sherbet. The current Premium Fruit Smoothie feature is Strawberry Sensation. Strawberry Sensation is a delicious blend of real strawberries, tropical fruit juice and non-fat frozen yogurt- and best of all its low fat! Additional menu items include the famous and frothy Julius® Original blended fruit drinks. The store also serves a variety of Dairy Queen soft-serve items, including the famous Blizzard® Treats, MooLatté ™ frozen blended coffee drinks and other DQ soft-serve ice cream treats.

The Westlake Center location features a fresh, exciting design concept incorporating maple woodwork and colorful glass tiles. The Westlake Center is located at the intersection of Pine and 4th St.

The owners are all extremely pleased with the new store and Kamal states, "I am very excited to be opening the first Dairy Queen/Orange Julius in the downtown area of Seattle in over 20 years."
This marks the ninth store opening in five years for Kamal and his business partners. "We enjoy our business because it allows us to stay in touch with our customers. We have become friends with the regulars and our stores have become part of the community."
