Good Morning, Rapid City!

(Tuesday, February 01, 2005) - Betty and Bob Barkley and their fabulous staff of Girlfriends are making it ridiculously easy for the residents of Rapid City, South Dakota to serve homemade dinners 12 nights a month. Their new Kitchen has been abuzz since they opened their doors the first week of February. Owner Betty Barkley reports, "This morning I calculated that the amount of food we will put out this week would equal feeding a family three meals a day for 300 days, or just their dinners for two and a half years!!!! No wonder it seems like a revolving door—food in the back door and on to those tables in Rapid City. I think this is an idea whose time has come. We have had such positive response and good feedback and several returning girlfriends in just the first two days of the month!"
