Mr. Rooter® Hires Marketing Manager

(Thursday, May 11, 2006) - Mr. Rooter announces the addition of Chris Mellon, marketing manager, to its corporate team. In this recently created role, Mellon works with franchisees and franchise systems managers to create customized local marketing plans, collaborates with the advertising agency on national advertising efforts, and develops and enforces marketing and advertising standards. "Chris brings more than 10 years of marketing experience to the Mr. Rooter team," said Mike Bidwell, president of Mr. Rooter. "We're excited about the future of our marketing and advertising efforts, and we believe Chris will help grow our brand throughout the world." Before making the move to Mr. Rooter, Mellon spent five years as creative director and brand manager for The Dwyer Group®, the holding company for Mr. Rooter and five other franchising companies.
